Hello! Welcome to my page. My name is Olivia, I am a fourth year student at San Jose state University. I am double majoring in Political Science and Journalism. This semester i am takin 18 units. On campus I am a Resident Advisor, the President of the Panhellenic Council, and a Staff Writer for the Spartan Daily. I also am a student intern with the California Faculty Association. On the weekends I work at a part-time job off campus.
I am interested in media and different media platforms because I am looking to expand my horizons as a multimedia journalist. In the future I want to apply to grad school and further my education. I feel that increased familiarity with different media platforms will allow me to connect with more people- an essential in journalism. I originaly planned to apply to grad school this semester because I am graduating in the spring however I am now uncertain because next semester will also be in the virtual format. Distancelearning has been a mental struggle for me and I want to take a break after finishing three semesters of virtual classes. I would like to take some time after I graduate in the spring to travel and document my experiences before I go to grad school.
